The Nike Air Penny 5 Invisibility Cloak was originally released in 2013. Nike re-released it less than a decade later in the form of the Nike Air Penny 5 Invisibility Cloak (2020), which included many of the same features found in the 2013 model. This Nike Air Penny 5 had an all-black upper along with a midsole that had an iridescent finish on it that provided it with its "Invisibility Cloak" name. The midsole also featured a series of wavy lines on it that helped clearly mark the overlays used on the upper. There were small pops of teal on the tongue, heel, and Swoosh situated on the medial side of the shoe. Our experts liked all the different design elements of this Nike Air Penny 5, but it was the 180-degree Max Air heel unit located at the back that stole the show. It provided plenty of lightweight cushioning while also providing the sneaker with a higher-end look.
