The Jordan 3 Retro SP J Balvin Medellín Sunset Sneakers represents a collaboration between the singer-songwriter and the iconic AJ3. Inspired by the sunsets in Balvin's home city of Medellín, Colombia, this pair of kicks has been specifically sized for toddlers. This Special Project artistic iteration of the AJ3 for little feet sports a base of cream-colored tumbled leather with cream-colored elephant print overlays adorning the toe cap and side panel. Tan suede forms the padded collar and eyestays. Gradient sunset shades from yellow to pinkish orange to black hit both the heel tab and the heel of the midsole. The rest of the midsole is cream-colored cushioning that contains air for springy energy return. The rubber outsole is grooved with stars and concentric circles to provide grip and shock absorption. Our favorite aspect of this toddlers’ shoe is the hits of gold on the upper, the Jumpman on the tongue, the upper eyestays, and the barely visible lining just above the stitching that circles the midline of the upper.
