The Nike Air Max Triax 96 Safari Camo reboots the retro running sneaker launched in 1996 and dresses it in a modern aesthetic. The Safari Camo iteration of the Nike Air Max Triax 96 features an upper crafted from ripstop textile and printed with a Camo pattern in black and brown, but primarily shades of green. A lighter green synthetic Nike Swoosh hits the side panel and matches the rope laces, tongue liner, and mesh sock liner. A similar light green forms the foam midsole and the oval midsole frame that highlights the visible ellipse of underfoot Air that offers ultimate cushioning. A black rubber outsole with deep grooves, waffle lugs, and a light green Nike Swoosh underscores this shoe. Our favorite aspect of this retro Camo runner is the eye-catching heel. Three-dimensional pods of white synthetic surround an embossed light green Nike Swoosh in a black diamond, the green pod on the right shoe, and the red pod on the left.
