The Nike Air Foamposite One Shattered Backboard Sneakers in Black/White/Total Orange was released to commemorate an iconic moment when the legendary Michael Jordan shattered a backboard during the 1985 championships in Trieste, Italy. This grade school Air Foamposite One features a shattered glass theme in black and white hues. The upper displays the Nike Foamposite material. A leather overlay takes over on the stays, which sport punched eyelets and black laces. On the lateral side is swoosh in total orange, paying homage to the orange jersey worn by Jordan when the backboard shattered. Deep ridges adorn the otherwise plain quarter panels. Orange Foamposite One logos appear on the tongue and counter alongside black and white striped pull tabs. Besides the shattered glass black and white colorway, we love the translucent rubber outsole on this sneaker. Midfoot, a glassy carbon fiber patch is on display on the midsole.
