Nike’s latest earth-conscious innovation, the Crater sole, which incorporates grounded-up scraps of Nike materials, is taking on a new silhouette. In April 2021, Nike introduced the Crater Impact. The Nike Crater Impact keeps the Swoosh’s sustainability initiatives rolling, bringing a running-forward design to the growing Crater series. The upper is composed mostly of a Summit White mesh and a Grey Fog-threaded Nike logo on the side panels. Hits of Hyper Crimson appear throughout, bringing more brightness to the light-colored sneaker. Lastly, the quintessential Crater Foam sole adds more cushion between the feet and the ground to reduce impact to the runner.
