About this shoe
ABZORB isn't just cushioning. It's part of New Balance's whole engineering-first legacy. The ABZORB 2010 looks like they stepped straight out of the 2000s performance era, just a bit more scaled up. The segmented ABZORB sole unit is the centerpiece with bigger proportions, sculpted lines and visible tech. Underfoot, it's stacked with ABZORB cushioning and ABZORB SBS in heel and forefoot: absorbing impact while keeping its shape. Through midfoot, a translucent TPU Stability Web adds structure and arch support, basically keeping everything locked in. Up top you have breathable mesh that meets nubuck and synthetic overlays for that layered, technical finish. Reflective hits catch light when you move and a molded "N" logo adds to that classic look.
