The Nike Air Max 90 Set To Rise marks the addition of this iconic running shoe silhouette to the distinctive Nike collection inspired by Eastern philosophies. The Nike Air Max 90 installment in the Set To Rise collection is designed with balance, starting with an upper base constructed of white mesh that matches the white foam of the midsole. Overlays of tannish-yellow leather at the toebox and quarter panel complement the yellow tongue, while the red leather Nike Swoosh on the side panel matches the TPU heel counter. The black of the suede mud guard and side-panel TPU window is echoed in the branding on the tongue and heel. Periwinkle TPU appears at the eyestays and at the midsole cassette that holds visible Air cushions. And finally, the translucent rubber outsole with heritage waffle lugs ties back to the upper with a hit of red at the toe. What we appreciate most about this beautifully designed sneaker are the Yin-Yang symbols of balance that adorn the insoles, lateral collar, and laces tips.
